I'm trying I really am but my life is hectic more so than when I started this series.
And now I'm thinking I may just throw up an I'm freaking sorry but this is the end of these series.

I was getting some very nice reviews from someone who had never reviewed before.
They are going back and reviewing! I love it and it has done unbelievable things for my muse.
Then it all comes crashing down with one review to which I can't respond =(
Everyone just falls in loves with your stories. They have such depth and detail to them that they draw the reader in, and make them (me) feel a part of the Bones universe. Stuff of that quality is worth the wait. I'm quite happy re-reading your stories, and truth be told aren't you writing two stories simultaneously?!?! Ensuring you keep track of dates and conversations must be driving you crazy!!!! (Post-its galore!) Take as long as you need, but please finish it. Your work has so much potential and could be the highlight of my day at times, I'd really like to read some more for a boost :) Your true fans are more than capable of waiting. ReplyDeleteI really appreciate that.I am just as frustrated as readers waiting. But recently someone who never reviewed is reviewing and it has really helped. =) As much as I'd like to give you a "boost" at the current stage of the story if I did that I'd give a huge chunk away =P so it must wait until I reach a point where that won't happen.

They are very real to me so I daren't think how much they mean to you. Keep your chin up and take the time to do it properly :) most importantly enjoy yourself. Don't stress yourself :) HBFT xox
ReplyDeleteI agree with HotBloodedFieryTemper! I just keep checking back to make sure you are still among us. Can I wish that all the FanFic authors where as good as you are and devoted as you are to their stories. I hope that who ever it is that is being an ass will quit being an ass about the waiting and appreciate that writing is a craft that takes time...especially when playing in other peoples sandboxes :).

With all the research you do it just stands to reason that writing the stories with as much depth as you do would take time. Please ignore the naysayers as you have people who are willing to wait for your stories. It is appreciated that you write them completely first and then post. This way we do not get to a point in a story that you invest your time into and then nothing for months maybe years on end. Take as much time as needed. We all understand that life has a way of interfering with plans.

Couldn't agree more with the comments already posted. Your fans are more than willing to wait - please don't be discouraged by an anonymous review - perhaps they were just wanting more of your wonderful writing, and don't understand the process you go through to gift us with your wonderful work. It is always more than worthwhile, and we will wait, no matter how long it takes. Life happens, no matter what, and should take priority, so don't stress about the impatience of a very few, and live and love as best you can.

All your loyal fans ask is that you continue to do what you are currently doing and let us know (every couple of weeks) that you are still with us and writing. All good works take a while and your stories are very good. I know several authors and the only ones who publish more than one book a year are the ones who have started churning out works to meet their contracts and you can tell it when you read it. You don't have to do that. Those of us who enjoy your works know that you are no less serious about your fan fic stories than some of the best-seller authors and you need to take the same amt of time. The little up-dates could be a little more frequent for me - even a "Hi Everyone. I loved the scene I wrote this week ..... and I know you will love reading it". I'm looking forward to re-reading all of your stories when the new ones come out and maybe doing it over an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend????
Quality
Sometimes other things have to come first (afterall, we aren't paying you to write amazing Bones fanfic, even though I'm pretty sure I've paid for writing I like a whole lot less). Take all the time you need, but I hope you'll continue to write! I look forward to the day where I get a surprise! It's done! and can lose myself in your next story.
