My Muse
Hey guys allow me to introduce my muse. She's a finicky sort and doesn't like pressure, loud noise or other people. So she mainly comes out to play when everyone is at work or school, when they've all gone to bed or when I just outright ignore the fact that there are other people in my house. Which of course you can imagine how often that happens. She also suffers from a rather severe case of ADHD. She will jump from story to story forgetting to tell me that she's moved to a different story. I sit there going WTH just happened to that storyline? Where'd it go? It was right here DAMMIT. Then thoughts about a conversation in another paragraph, story or whatever pop into my head. So there you have it. Unfortunately lately pain and dealing with unsettling news has slowed down my writing from a walk to a crawl =( It's starting to flow easier a little so we'll see. I know that you've all be waiting so patiently and I do appreciate it =D I really do

Glad to hear from you! Hoping things continue to move even at a crawl because all good things take time.
ReplyDeleteYou never have to apologize for taking your time, and waiting for your muse to co-operate. Your fans know that the end result is worth it.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, it seems your muse is tricky to deal with and I don't envy you the experience. I am not at all creative and am both envious of those like yourself who are definitely creative, and glad I don't have the stress of dealing with the consequences of that talent.
Be assured, we will wait and we will NOT think badly of you because things are taking a little longer that both you and we would wish.

Don't fret the longer it takes the more time I have to refresh my memory and re-re-re-read the other stories. yeah
