Reviews

Here in the last few days or weeks I've gotten a few reviews for Espionage. Yes, I know it's been a year and yes I understand you guys are antsy. I really do appreciate your patience but I must tell you the life has been hectic and full of pain. I spent two months is physical therapy. Days when I wasn't in therapy, I was vomiting from pain. You know you want to write while you're in that much pain, right? Let's not forget holidays, taking of my son who has special needs (it can take up to three hours to get his meds into him), dealing with his doctors appointments and mine. If you have a chronic illness you know this isn't a once a year thing. This is two or three times a month thing now multiply that by two.

I really do appreciate my readers, I love you guys to death and I'm not trying to be mean but doing the guilt thing only pisses me off. I'm glad you like my story but ticking me off or using guilt or any other type of manipulation even if unintentional has negative kick backs. I dig in my heels, glare at the screen then go and crochet. I'm working as hard and as fast as I can. The story is an emotional roller coaster and some parts were written in Second Comes Marriage and not in Hunted first. So I know it's coming and I really don't want it too. No, I'm not telling you what it is =P. But there is a lot going on in the story. I'm hoping that once I get past this point that it will come much faster *crosses fingers*

So, to those who patiently wait, thank you.
To those who aren't well sucks to be ya'll cos you can't make me work any faster.......

Sorry if it sounds mean but hey I'm not necessarily always nice as you've seen before.

A New Unit Member

Oh me oh my what do we have here? A non dead me to start with but then another sneak peek...just so you know I'm still going at it. I'm almost to the point where it splits and I go wild without worrying about where this or that person is woohooo!! I know it's been a very long wait and I appreciate you all waiting so patiently. I hope it's worth the wait.

Booth heard weird growling and hissing noise from his left. Jerking his head around he almost yelled in surprise when he saw what Goodman was holding.

“What the hell is that?” He asked, his voice an octave higher than normal.

Goodman chuckled and reached into his pocket. Breaking off a piece of snack bread from his rations he held it out to the growling animal in his hands.

“It's a long eared hedgehog. He started visiting us while we were waiting. So, I started feeding it whenever he came over. He decided to come home with us,” Goodman said, with a grin.

“Those things are rats, they could carry the bubonic plague,” Booth said, grimacing. Goodman burst into laughter and shook his head.

“They're just as likely to carry an infectious disease as any other wild animal. Not all of them carry diseases, Sarge. As long as I wash my hands it shouldn't be a problem and they're not rats,” he said, letting the animal roll up in his palm.

“Yeah, well he's sleeping with you,” Perkins said, glaring at the little animal.

The Silence

I must apologize for the silence. I'm trying very hard to work on my stories and I am making a little progress but once again real life gets in the way. Physical therapy was very rough on me and I have to try four weeks of aquatic therapy and I'm thinking it's not going to be any better. It's hard to write when you're in so much pain you're constantly getting sick.

On that Note.....

RealMcCoy17: I really appreciate the reviews and would love nothing better than to give you a reply to them. However, you do not have a FFN account, I looked for you. I understand that you're excited about the sequels and want them "NOW" but pressure will not get them done faster. Pressure runs my muse off and irritates me. I'm unsure if you meant it or not but when you start a review with the word okay it tells me that you're irritated. That does not help either that just pisses me off. As much as I would like to devote 100% of my time to fan fiction it just doesn't work that way.

I don't even know if RealMcCoy17 will read this but I need to say it! I believe that I am having such a hard time with Hunted because I made them out to be super heroes and now I have to fix that. I have to pull them back into the human realm. So it's making me constantly double think my conversations, ideas and actions for them. I maybe strangling my own muse.

Thanks for all your support guys I really do appreciate it!

ROAD TRIP!!!

Booth sat in the driver’s seat and watched as Legates traipsed towards them then climbed into the Humvee.
“He’s staying,” Legates grunted, still having that sinking sensation in his stomach.
“Okay,” Booth mumbled as that shiver crawled up his spine again..
“Why are we doing this again, Sarge?” Wilson asked, glaring at Booth.
“Because, Wilson, this is what Pelant told us to do,” Booth said between clenched teeth. His fingers tightened around the steering wheel, making his knuckles turn white. The men sang loud and off key as they drove through the streets of Kabul. If he hadn’t been wearing a helmet or driving, Booth would have grabbed his hair and yanked. On second thought, it was just the helmet because if he crashed the Humvee they’d stop singing. He ground his teeth through the Llama song, it took everything he had to try hard not to cry when they started the next song.
“Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-nana,” Legates sang.
“Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-nana,” Techie joined in so they were both singing.
“Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-nana,” Wilson belted out, making Booth cringe at the destruction of the Beach Boys song with the spoof. They continued to sing in what sounded like utter gibberish for several more verses.
PO-TAE-TOH-OH-OH,” Wilson yelled out. Booth bit back the urge to want to smack himself in the face. It was funny but at the same time very scary.  Grinding his teeth, he clenched the wheel and tried to remember they were on his side. They had just gotten to thirty bottles of beer on the wall and he was going nuts, it was worse than a road trip with Parker. He let out a relieved sigh when he pulled the Humvees to a stop. Scanning the area, the men checked to see if there was any danger. Spotting the other patrol next to their vehicles in what was clearly a lounging position, they scrambled

out.

My Muse

Hey guys allow me to introduce my muse. She's a finicky sort and doesn't like pressure, loud noise or other people. So she mainly comes out to play when everyone is at work or school, when they've all gone to bed or when I just outright ignore the fact that there are other people in my house. Which of course you can imagine how often that happens. She also suffers from a rather severe case of ADHD. She will jump from story to story forgetting to tell me that she's moved to a different story. I sit there going WTH just happened to that storyline? Where'd it go? It was right here DAMMIT. Then thoughts about a conversation in another paragraph, story or whatever pop into my head. So there you have it. Unfortunately lately pain and dealing with unsettling news has slowed down my writing from a walk to a crawl =( It's starting to flow easier a little so we'll see. I know that you've all be waiting so patiently and I do appreciate it =D I really do
