Just a little taste

Okay another sneak peek. But remember these pieces are unedited, non beta approved and of course subject to change as I edit....*smirk*

Angela took her break, picked up her camera, and began taking pictures of the carnage surrounding her. There was so much emotion that could be captured here. She squatted down, grunting with the effort, and looked through her camera lens. Catching sight of a young private kneeling in the midst of a burnout building with his face in his hands, she changed to black and white then took the picture. 

She knew that she would never forget this but she could use these pictures to drive an emotion that would help her create art. She took a breath then struggled to stand, her bulging stomach giving her problems. She found her arm gripped by a young sergeant.

“Thank you,” she said in a low voice.

“No problem, Ma’am,” he said, moving off. 

Angela continued moving around the scene, catching interns in various positions as they worked. She crouched and zoomed out to catch the burnt out wall behind Wendell as he bent over a body. She took the shot and paused with her eye still looking through the camera.

 
“Holy shit,” she muttered.
